Reported on 6 April 2011, Erika Christensen is nursing a broken arm after a recent accident on her bicycle.

Erika Christensen now stars on U.S. TV hit Parenthood. She was spotted out in Los Angeles on Tuesday sporting a cast on her right forearm.

But Erika Christensen is hoping for a rapid recovery thanks to cutting-edge medical technology and has had an ultrasound device fitted to her bandages.

Erika Christensen explains to TMZ.com, "I crashed my bike... It didn't really hurt... This is for an ultrasound. It stimulates bone growth... technology today, right!?"

Erika Christensen was born in Seattle, Washington on August 19, 1982.

There Erika Christensen started her education in the Montessori school system until she moved to Los Angeles with her family at the age of four.

Erika Christensen then entered the Delphi Academy and gravitated to an artist's career at an early age.

At eleven Erika started singing, dancing and acting with professional children's theatre groups as well as volunteering to perform for foster family events and community groups.

Erika Christensen had performed in hundreds of shows throughout Southern California and in many venues including The Serendipity Theatre Company and the Pasadena Dance Theatre.

Within a year, At the age of twelve Erika declared her life-long goal to be an actor. She immediately started working professionally and enrolled in a school that allowed her to continue her academic studies while working on film sets.

Members including Anne Archer, Jennifer Aspen, Eric Balfour, Erika Christensen, Jason Dohring, Jenna Elfman, Juliette Lewis, Marisol Nichols and Ethan Suplee performed skits and told Christmas stories to benefit the Hollywood Police Activities League’s annual Christmas party for underprivileged children, as well as their year-round inner city programs for at-risk youth.

The Christmas Stories stage is a 1930s style radio show setting with performances of traditional and original stories and songs, now in its 18th year. The annual event has raised more than $265,000 in proceeds for these community programs since it began in 1993.

Erika Christensen is a regular in the upcoming NBC series Parenthood, based on the Ron Howard film. It will debut in early 2010.

Parenthood is an updated version of the 1989 film of the same title. It is also the second TV series based on that film (the previous series aired during the 1990-1991 television season). The series will premiere on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 10pm, following The Biggest Loser.

This series was originally scheduled to premiere on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 on NBC. However, on July 10, 2009, it was announced that Parenthood would be pushed back to midseason, due to actress Maura Tierney's breast cancer. The show was replaced by Mercy on the fall 2009 schedule.

Subsequently, on September 10, 2009, a spokesperson for Tierney announced that she was leaving the show due to conflicts with her treatment schedule. On October 9, 2009, it was announced that Lauren Graham would replace Tierney in the upcoming series.

Parenthood was expected to premiere March 1, 2010 and air on Monday nights at 9pm. However, after the cancellation of The Jay Leno Show, NBC moved the premiere to March 2, 2010 at 10pm.

I think this show is awesome and is now my favorite. I've never seen anything like it, really. I've watched it about a zillion times and can't wait till every new episode coming up. I was actually starting to get tired of all the re-runs and boring shows on T.V. I don't know if it's the science behind the lies or just the idea of it, but I've simply fallen in love with it. But I don't think it's just the lies that interest me, I'm also very in love with the actors and characters. Especially Tim Roth. Aka Dr. Cal Lightman. If there were words that could explain my interest and love for his work I'd use it, but as far as I know, there isn't. Even in the new "Incredible Hulk" I was struck by his talent.

Nick Stahl, Erika Christensen, Gavin Rossdale, & Terry Crews are all quite talented, too bad they have nothing good for them to do. This reminded me of a a failed TV pilot that just wasn't any good so it wasn't aired. I respect what the writer/director was trying to do, sorry he failed miserably. This made a total of 1K in theaters then to video, and for good reason it sucks. Please don't bother wasting your time or your money with this very good looking (the cinematography is looks great) yet utterly pointless & extremely boring film. . :(

While I realise that the American Dream is just that for many in the USA, 'gritty' dramas about the brutality of the daily existence of many in the USA does not good cinema make. Disappointed and frustrated that issues that were touched on were not expanded (prostitution) while others such as Viet Vets were made painfully overexplained. Could have been so much more.

Flightplan tell about... In Berlin, the aircraft propulsion engineer Kyle Pratt is grieving the loss of her beloved husband, who felt from the roof of their building. She quits her job and decides to travel with her traumatized six years old daughter Julia to bury the body in Long Island. While in the flight to New York, Kyle falls asleep, and when she wakes up, her daughter is missing. She requests a search in the plane to the captain, but nobody has seen her daughter, whose name is not in the flight manifest, disbelieving Kyle. She tries to convince the air marshal Carson that she is not delusional.

Flightplan grossed $89,602,378 at the box office and over $223,000,000 worldwide. It also grossed $49,270,000 on DVD rentals. The movie was met with mixed reviews from critics. It has a 38% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. In his review Roger Ebert described the film as 'a frightening thriller with an airtight plot', but James Berardinelli saw it as plotwise 'going into a tailspin from which it never recovers.'

The Association of Professional Flight Attendants, called for an official boycott of the film, which they say depicts flight attendants as rude, uncaring, indifferent, and even one as a "terrorist."

At the end of the movie, Barnabus asks Mike to go with him to his home planet, and Mike answers "Earth is my home." Barnabus accepts this with grace, and allows Mike to scratch him behind the ears (something he previously forbade) before they both say goodbye.

At school Beaver sits behind a very pretty girl named Susan Acustis (Brenda Song) and has a very kind teacher named Miss Landers (Grace Phillips). After school Eddie asks Wally to come in the soda shop to see him flirt with Karen. Eddie does not want Beaver to follow them, so Wally leaves Beaver alone with the bikes telling him he will be back in a second.

Beaver is polishing his bike when a punk teenager (Glenn Walker Harris Jr.) comes over and admires the bike and asks Beaver if he can show him some cool bike tricks. Beaver agrees and the boy shows him some tricks before riding off with the bike. Inside the shop it becomes apparent that Karen likes Wally, not Eddie. When Wally and Eddie come out of the shop and hear that Beaver's bike got stolen they look for it but can't find it. During dinner that night, the boys try to cover up the fact that the bike was stolen, but to no avail. When Ward hears he is very upset not just at Beaver, but at Wally, because Wally wasn't watching Beaver. In the boys bedroom, Wally and Beaver get into a fight which sends the new computer flying out the window. Wally grabs the wire and tries to pull the computer in and does, but the wire to the monitor breaks, falls out the window, and crashes into many pieces.

Beaver decides to skip football practice and study instead, and Wally starts spending more time with Karen now instead of Beaver. When he is caught by Ward for skipping practice, Beaver is told that he can quit the team if he wants, but he doesn't. During the last game, Beaver gets a catch and runs it for a touchdown. By the concession stands, he finds the punk with his bike and takes it back. Ward reads Beaver a bedtime story.
